For Erik's B-day I took him on the Heber Creeper. He liked it. It was pretty fun. Here he is with a steam engine. I don't know the difference between train engines, but Erik does.
This is an open air part of the train. I look cold, because I am. It was pretty though.
This is the diesel engine. This is the one that pulled us. Doesn't Erik look so happy? I bet he hopes there are trains in heaven.
YUM. This is Erik's cake i made him. If you can't tell that the candles spell out BYU, then you are not a true cougar.
Look at all that smoke. It must mean that Erik is getting old. It is too bad that you can't see Erik's feet, because he got new shoes for his b-day and was wearing them ALL day. (I didn't let him wear them to church, though.)

I had a little shocker with Coral this morning... Here is our conversation- I finished the dishes and said
"Okay , Coral, it is time to go downstairs so Mommy can run on the treadmill. "
Instead of her saying ok, yes, or whatever-
she says "Sounds good Hoser."
HELLOOO! What three year old girl calls her mom a hoser? I guess one whose dad is Jaren. I told her from now on Daddy is the only hoser in the house and outside as well.

So, I've been tagged by Sarah too.. I understand now! I have learned a lot about myself recently. Mainly, I like little kids and babies a lot. Especially my own, but others as well. This is something new about me because growing up I never cared about being around small children, (except when I was a small child.)
I love it when Jaren has the day off, it is so fun to watch him play with Coral and Carson, he can always make either of them laugh so easily. I'm the Mom that's always worried about something-daddy is fun!
I love to take Coral to the library to get new books to read. I especially like to go and get books for myself. I think I can probably find some time to read now that Carson is sleeping better.
I love chocolate and pasta, those are probably my favorite things to eat. I also love Mom's scalloped potatoes and ham. I wish that was the Sunday tradition, but I also like Roast Beef.
I really like exercising, but only with Jaren. We had a lot of fun training for the half marathon last year, and I am planning on doing it next year- just so you know Jaren!
I am also looking forward to the Holidays, but mostly Christmas. Thanksgiving has been a little lame for me the last couple of years since Jaren always has to work. I am so glad Sarah and Nate are c0ming out for Christmas so I can finally hold little Cooper. It has been so long since the whole family has been together and I am also looking forward to Devon coming home from his mission in June. Coral really needs me right now to build something with play doh, this is most important, so I better go!!!

So apparently I have been tagged by Sarah. That means I have to tell 6 things about myself then tag 6 other people to do the same. I think Chantille is confused, so maybe this explanation will help.
Right now I am on my dream cycle. I usually remember my dreams for2 weeks. Then I don't remember then for the next two weeks. I am kind of getting sick of remembering them, especially when the last one I had I was very mad at Erik.
One of my biggest fears is getting into a car accident. Sometimes I freak out when Erik is driving. He doesn't like that so much.
I spent a lot of time on-line, because sometimes work is really sloooow. I really like blogs and have found a lot of funny ones.
I hate email forwards, funny ones are ok. I hate the ones that say if you don't forward this you will have bad luck for 3 weeks, or your friends will hate you, or something like that.
I am excited and scared for Erik to get a job and move away. I would love to find a job in public health. I am sad to be leaving family and friends and possible mountains.
I love hanging out with Erik and watching The Office with him. It is the best.
Now I tag Mom, Erik, Hyrum, Talia, Erik, Nate (we will see how this goes)

Mom wanted me (Colette) to add some pictures of Devon to the blog, so he felt part of the family. I don't know what he is doing in all of the pictures, so I will make stuff up.
This is devon demonstrating how he is a fisher of men, or maybe he is really fishing (on a P-day of course!)
Devon and comp on a beach, dangerously close to the water. This is in Trini, I believe.
Devon with some one he is going to baptize. Good job Devon!

These pictures were taken at our ward Halloween party. We
didn't win the most creative costume, although, we should have.
Many people have told us that.
This picture is of our friends, the Lorenzens. They are dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver. We enjoyed our ward party.

I keep changing the blogs background, but I think I like this one the best. Erik and I had a ward halloween party last night, we didn't take a picture. But I am making Erik dress up again, so you can all see what we were.

Here are some pictures I have been meaning to post.
This first one is a rainbow that happened here in September. I guess we don't take that many pictures if I am just uploading it now. It is a pretty one though.
Sometime Erik likes to sleep with things that are hairier than me.
I am not trying to hit mom with this squash, I promise! Boy mom sure did have quite the squash harvest.

This is Coral waking Jaren up from a nap yesterday. He had to be to work by 5:00 am, so he got home and had a nap. Coral decided it was time for him to get up and started spitting in his face.

I couldn't tell that it was coral when the picture was sideways, so I flipped it. She is looking good!

Here is all the Gibby side of the family that was able to make it to Carson's blessing. The bishop didn't announce he was getting blessed and we thought we all might have to come back in 2 more weeks. Good thing Jaren was there it straighten it all out.
Mom wanted me to post some pictures of the festivities from this weekend. Here is the growing Jarrard family. Luckily in this picture Coral is smiling. She didn't want her picture taken, but dad made her laugh. Way to go dad. Carson is wearing a cute white outfit. I think that it looks like a sailor uniform.
Apparently mom is sending me one more picture. I will post it when I get it. Have a great week everybody. Thanks for the party Chantille and Jaren.
